Platform for Vendors in Uganda (PLAVU), is a national Micro and small business alliance formed to organize, build voice, increase visibility and win justice (validity) for her members. Formed in 2011 and formally registered in 2013 vide: 175372

PLAVU is apolitical and takes a very strong stand against corruption, bribery and discrimination.
OUR TARGET GROUPS: Vulnerable, marginalized and unrecognized informal economy workers with women accounting over 65 percent; they include;
Owners of micro enterprises employing a few workers
Own account or self-employed workers working alone or with family members as unpaid employees & apprentices
Dependent workers in micro-enterprises working on contract or casual basis, family workers & apprentices;
